I have to say I’m worried. We haven’t had this much silence from the team on our concerns in months. What’s going on? Why the complete silence to us? It’s feeling like the Nexon days again, Shoe comments on a tech issue post to tell them to create a support ticket and ignores the thread upon thread upon thread of people with real and current issues such as all of the “save execution” threads, our MK. III cases not appearing, and others. Instead he comments just a support link on a thread over a week old. What is going on?

If you legitimately cannot tell us things because of “release secrecy” or “it’s still being worked on” at least freaking tell us that. The complete silence to everyone on YOUR forums is not the way to win friends and influence people. Just tell us it’s being worked on or you are listening, heck just post a meme I don’t effing care just give us SOMETHING. Please don’t go back to the Nexon days, those days were awful.

I dont know how you get the impression, that we havent had this much silence since months. It’s exactly like this since months. During Nexon days there was more communication (which doesnt mean much) just because with Miss Murder/Raziel we had one extra community manager.

Well we had FAQ-ing Fridays for about 3 weeks and then they decided they didn’t need to answer questions anymore. Ever since then we’ve gotten pretty much nothing on the forums. They did make a concerted effort to be active but that was early summer. Not anymore.

They need to bring back the Twitch Dev Streams , that way they can’t hide like ostriches .

Well, maybe there was a small increase in communication. But it happened several times that an announcement was made. 1 day later there was 1 or 2 additional posts in the announcement thread and then there was silence for 2 weeks until the next announcement.

I remember each of those threads and last I remember Shoe said they would be better about it and for awhile they were in my opinion. But recently it’s been absolutely 0 from anyone on the forums except announcements. No comments or ANYTHING. And I know he’s seen them because he just responded to one over a week old. Why read and not respond at all?

Well the oldest thread I linked is from May, where it was said, that it was such an eye opener and that everything would change and in the one from June there was also a response to the issue

Now it is months later and we are still/again dealing with the same problem.

Just let it be. Either they do not want or cant communicate with us. It’s their way to handle business. Not to communicate with the community and then reveal the big surprises: like the new crafting system, removal of execution, the new reward system.

Bringing back the twitch streams would fix some of the communication issues imo.
I still don’t know why they stopped doing them,it can’t be because of the break with nexon, because they were here even before nexon participated to them, so who is the culprit ?

I have to agree, I don’t know what exactly you guys are expecting in terms of communication. Are you wanting to be over their shoulders watching everything they do to work on the game???

They are in Europe. Euro folks are take copious amounts of vacation time during the summer months.

Reporting threads for every update
Balance patch and confirmed near future balance patches

What are you expecting? They aren’t going to answer every single complaint and they aren’t going to answer every thread. “But we’ve been asking for x for so long…” and they probably answered it in a FAQ -months- ago. They aren’t going to take an Unsolved Mysteries track and post “UPDATE: THIS QUESTION WE ANSWERED MONTHS AGO HASN’T CHANGED”

  • All they do is post the same thing everywhere, not actually communicate with players. They throw info at us, but don’t talk WITH us.
  • This has nothing to do with communication???

  • That they don’t seem to read or respond to. (they probably read, but definitely give no indication that they are reading them)
  • Again, nothing to do with communication so I don’t know why you’re listing it as a reason they have been communicating well.

I’m not arguing for more content from a sense of “entitlement” like @Nail accused me of. I’m simply asking why we’ve had no sense of conversation or communication with the devs. They announce things and leave it at that. No interaction beyond that. All I’m saying is I’d like responses to bug threads or issue with game threads, even if it’s just “We hear you and we’re considering/working on it”. That’s all. Is that so hard?

Let’s not get heated. :stuck_out_tongue: To be fair, you didn’t say anything about his patch notes posts, you just said that they did patches which from my perspective, literally does have nothing to do with player communication. Maybe I’ve just been missing them, but it seems like recently Shoe has gone dark on replies. It could be just me. I’m not looking to fight here, I just wish they could be more involved with their community. I’ve seen it done with other games so I know it can be done, but maybe that’s why they’re hiring. :slight_smile:

Just bugs me that people still complain about a lack of communication after the disaster of 2016.

They’ve been making fast and constant changes, finally streams of new content, hiring new employees, and generally doing what we’ve been asking for… but people still complain that it isn’t perfect.

Patch notes detail the updates that are made yes… and while that is kind of communication it really isn’t dealing with the issues or threads that people are making. Patch notes are expected, and if they didn’t have them it would honestly be a joke.

You can’t seriously expect it to be ok to announce the end of a complete game mode along with 3 maps and then just go MIA for nearly a week.

I’ve heard excuses like… “maybe they are taking holidays”. That’s just BS, if they were on holidays then this would be a stupid time to drop a bomb like that on the community, regardless of how many people are playing the game mode.

People are hurt, have questions, have suggestions and want answers… and there has been NO communication what so ever on the subject.

why , yes you are
they answer pertinent questions, things that need answering, commenting on joe blow’s question or sad opinion isn’t necessary
