A very nice idea, but I think that would be totally imbalanced. At the moment I hunt for red dots on the radar. I think it would become even worse for them if I knew what guy I had to kill first.
Tactical scanner ?
Dumb question here: How does the Tactical Scanner work? I don’t get it. I tried pointing at people and could not figure out where the buffs they have are displayed. Can someone post a picture of what it does? Pretty please.

guess you missed this:
hmm good point it could be just that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hu2e0HgTey4
4:33 Tactical Scanner to 4:51
I haven’t tested to see if that is the case would be interesting to know though.
Thanks very much, Seatsniffer. I appreciate that. Actually, seeing it this way I think it can be useful. I will try it out some more. Thanks again.

what about stacking abilities? if you are an operative, and you have tactical scanner, you can mark just the characters that are heavily fortified. especially if they are the medic or objective class. (bots seem to zero in on the marked opponent).
rather than to plan out who i’m gonna attack (takes too long) i still find it most useful to get a quick sense of whether i’m gonna win a firefight or not. (i.e. if i’m rolling light with an SMG and go up against a medium with 2 health pips and and engi pip), i might want to rethink my strategy (i.e. find a teammate) rather than keep fighting till i (likely) die.
i’m still a little iffy on how useful this actually is…but time spent with it will be necessary to actually decide.
