Sync's Dream Patch Notes

Hey guys,

I just want to make a post that I can keep updating as a play the game.

These are things that I would like changed/added to the game, and I feel like bringing them to you in the form of patch notes, if you would like explanations, please ask.

Also I only play Recon for now, so I don’t have specific changes for other classes right now.

Sync’s list of changes

*NOTE: Some of things could already be happening or already there but I’m too silly to figure it out, tell me if so.

----------New Content--------------

[ul]
[li]Added Rocket Launchers - Rocket Launchers are a good weapon against EVs as well as single target damage. Don’t depend on splash damage.[/li]
[li]Added Capture The Flag Game mode - Each team must try to take the opposing teams flag in the enemy’s base and bring it back to their own base. Cannot get a point if own flag is taken.[/li]
[li]Added Destroy the target/Search and Destroy Game mode - Attacking team must plant the bomb and defend from bomb being defused. Defending team must prevent the bomb from being planted for a certain time period to win. 1 life. 2min rounds.[/li]
[li]-Players now have access to their personalized ECHO stats - Check out the most common places you die, accuracy, kills, wins, etc, etc.[/li][/ul]

-----------General---------------

[ul]
[li]Added new HUD display notifying player needs to be Engineer class for Objective[/li]
[li]Game Settings menu is now located top right of the screen instead of bottom right[/li]
[li]Grenade icons are now in a black and white triangle for better visibility [/li]
[li]Weapon model now scales with Field Of View (FoV)[/li]
[li]Customize Classes I’m sure this already happening[/li]
[li]Friendly Fire is now on by default. *Server admins may choose to disable this option.[/li]
[li]Players can now customize their cross-hair *If this is implemented then my bullet tracer one is not necessary[/li][/ul]

----------Gameplay--------------

[ul]
[li]Switching between weapons is now faster - This includes after taking a sniper shot[/li]
[li]Can now run while reloading without cancelling the reload - This includes running after taking a sniper shot[/li]
[li]Knife Range has been reduced as well as the rate of knife stab (Right Click)[/li]
[li]You can now jump multiple times without reduced speed[/li]
[li]General Movement has been improved to feel more fluid[/li]
[li]Added bullet tracers for better tracking in strafe gun fights only reason is pretty hard to see my cross-hairs and sometimes lose where I’m aiming[/li][/ul]

--------Recon--------

[ul]
[li]Sniper rifles now have proper accuracy when scoped in and shooting it very quickly[/li]
[li]Removed Weapon Breath/Sway[/li]
[li]Sniper rifles now have 25% less zoom optics So far maps are pretty CQC and the current zoom in is too much[/li][/ul]

I actually, really like the idea of bullet tracers. I was just thinking yesterday that I feel like I’m missing some shots because I’m shooting like a lg in QuakeLive, but lagging behind and not realizing it. The lg beam helped get me back on track and adjust. Bullet tracers would help here, but maybe I just need to get better on focusing that crosshair on the enemy’s face. Having a different colored crosshair would also help with that. =)

Thank you, I hope we are on the same idea, where I got it from was in a PS3 game called Resistance: Fall of Man( Hands down the most competitive PS3 title to date) anyways here is a video that hopefully shows what I’m wanting.

Wow, that is some extreme tracer action going on right there.

I did like the weapon butt melee attack though.
