Switch Team Button?

I’ve noticed in this version of beta that people dip out really fast leaving one team to massively outnumber the other. Is there a switch team button you can use in the middle of the match to switch to the disadvantaged side because it’s boring on the advantaged side and very frustrating on the disadvantaged side. The matches aren’t short as well so you end up getting slaughtered for a long time if you choose to wait it out (as people join during the match is rare).

there isn’t a button but there is a switch team system already in place, just hidden in the menus while you are playing… and even before the match starts you can still switch up teams (pretty sure last time I remembered)

Would rather see an autobalance function on the casual(pub) servers than a switch team button. To avoid stacking and ‘winning team joiners’

I didn’t check it in public since the Matchmaking was online but I believe that the button is “disabled” while you are playing Competitive because ur team is fixed and you shouldnt be able to join the other team.

Not exactly, switch team button was disabled only during the last 2 beta tests. Reason for this was that devs wanted to check matchmaking.

Coruscate is correct. No team switching in Competitive mode. Those that leave games early are penalized by not being able to join another competitive match for a few minutes. The penalty gets bigger if they repeat the offense.
