Swap Teams feedback

I’ve mentioned some of this before but…
Currently swapping teams requires going to the Limbo menu, clicking on the other team, and then kill binding. That’s cool but a “swap team” button would be nice. Or not having to hit the kill bind although a swap team mistake would suck.

Another weird condition I ran into tonight and the other night was someone joined as I was trying to swap teams. The game wouldn’t let me swap because it would have imbalanced the teams. But I didn’t notice this and couldn’t figure out why the game wouldn’t let me swap teams. Technically in this scenario, I had gone to spectator first and then was trying to join the other team but clicking on APPLY or TEAM buttons did nothing and I didn’t know what was going on. A message or flashing indicator of imbalanced teams would be nice to let me know why I couldn’t change teams.

Basically, I accept that the Limbo menu is a WIP, but right now team choice feels clumsy and antiquated or at least unpolished (because it’s an ALPHA!).

You’re right that these issues are not inherently obvious and thus not intuitive. The Limbo menu does seem clumsy because of this. Sure, it’s in alpha, but these are the things we should be mentioning, right? So, good points.

On another note, I’d like some feedback when I’ve switched class. I tend to use F1-F4 when alive to spawn as the desired class. Just a simple “You will spawn as X” in the chat would be enough.

Also, I’d like the option to set a default spawn class as I always seem to spawn as engineer, no matter what the “latest” class I used was.
