i am trying to get permission for making a stopwatch version of radar please would you give me your ideas on what you would like to see changed.

So far ive got
FPS needs to be made better
Brige near the main gate needs to be taken away
the MG near main gate needs taken away
Ammo and Medic packs in hut needs to be moved to forward bunker
The hut MG needs taken away
Flag can be recaptured after the gate is blown

imho, radar is good stopwatch map as it is.
You could try to do etpro script for some of the changes you describe but please do not rape radar.

I haven’t played radar in ages, but why are the FPS crap? It’s a small, simple level which should lend itself well to fast framerates.
I’m a bit puzzled…

Radar is already a good SW map.

If you want to make the FPS better, forcecvar the foliage off, and remap the sky shader so it doesn’t have fog. (you can’t forcecvar r_wolffog because pb has hardcoded checks for it)

IMO, some of your proposed changes would make radar worse for SW:

Flag can be recaptured after the gate is blown

makes it MUCH more biased from the defense.

Brige near the main gate needs to be taken away

Makes it harder to attack west parts.

Ammo and Medic packs in hut needs to be moved to forward bunker

makes it easier to hold the flag.

radar is a favoured sw map, no need to change it as reyal said its mostly just fps issues which can be sorted by current methods
