Suspicious Program Detected(Xigncode Error)

(neg) #1

Friends having issues even loading the game, hasnt been able to load into it at all the game just crashes out with “Suspicious Program Detected: Xigncode Error 0xE019100B”

Have tried reinstalling, deleting Xign files and verifying cache, reverifying cache, googled and tried multiple fixes/changes in an attempt to fix it and nothing has worked

Hasn’t been able to get a reply from the email address that is listed along with the error either (support@wellbia.com)

(Nail) #2

are you running bitdefender, there’s a known problem, try installing with it off

(Smooth) #3

I’m getting this on my home PC too, very frustrating. I’ve tried killing the processes of anything non-essential but still won’t let me play.

We’re looking in to it, Xigncode does send more detailed reports that we can investigate.

Doesn’t have Bitdefender installed, already did the usual google rounds and this seemed to be the most likely culprit but isnt the in this case im afraid which is annoying

He’s tried pretty much the same thing, I suspect it isn’t so much the process is running but the fact what ever application it is would just have to be installed for it to spit the error. At the time of writing this Xign/Wellbia did reply to his email asking him to do the following, but he had already tried what they suggested and havent heard back from them again yet.

Please, follow the steps as below for solve your problem.

  1. Install an anti-virus program and have complete update, and scan your PC.

  2. Please, delete xmag.xem file and start game that located same as xigncode.log file.

  3. Reboot your PC and start game.

So its obviously a known issue and is being worked on but no ETA for a fix is what I would assume?

I know the problem for me is when I use TSNotifier or Project Kryptonite (both are Teamspeak overlays), so if you could make it work with these then that would be very nice.

(Nail) #6

netlimiter and dxtory are also culprits

(Smooth) #7

UNINSTALLING (not just closing down) Netlimiter meant I could play without being kicked.

Hopefully legit programs like this can be whitelisted.

Doesnt netlimit also has its negative uses? I thought it is on the ban list similar to the sandboxie for good reason. I am not into deep though, just remembered some earlier discussions over the past years.

but it’s YOUR game, seems to me, they’re in breach

Keep it on blacklist, net code is bad enough without people tinkering with netlimiter to make it worse.

(Talespin) #11

mumble overlay also gave me this warning

(neg) #12

doesn’t have any overlays or any of the above programs installed, still having the issue

(neg) #13

still no reply from wellbia, not sure what their turn around time is but yeah…

(AssortedStuff) #14

I have Dxtory installed and never had such issues. If Dxtory is problematic for others it could have to do with which version is installed.

(Deadie) #15

I cannot play unless I close down sandboxie. Kind of petty and annoying, since I automatically sandbox all of my web browsing.

Just an usual day @ Nexon. I dislike Nexon for multiple reasons and this is clearly one of them.

(Idiophobia) #18

Just a heads up, if you use a headset with hotkey buttons on it music players such as Winamp and Foobar will get picked up as well the second you use one of the hotkeys. Some mice will also trigger it. This has been an issue with Xigncode and programs like it since DFO’s early days.

You can remedy this by running them in a virtual machine since Xigncode was something that congealed off an ear of corn rather than made by people.

(Phantomchan) #19

That’s quite sad to be honest, now I am afraid to use Voice Attack for activating voice macro’s in dirty bomb. I prefer that above actual talking as it doesn’t break immersion and I’m too lazy to press a few buttons whilst running around. I do think it will get detected.

(Deadie) #20

Well now I am suspended for 2 days for daring to have Sandboxie running while playing Dirty Bomb. Sorry if I am meant to completely alter the setup of my PC to play your game.
