Surrendering limit problem

(OwynTyler) #1

I understand that you can’t surrender in the warmup and first 3 minutes of the match but… WHY can’t you do that in the first 3 mins of the SECOND half of the match and in the 2nd warmup? it just ruins the game making it into clown-fiesta plus it messes up scores if those are counted aftergame cause everyone wants to surrender but can’t and hell happens now.

Please fix it making it possible to surrender after 1st half in the warmup and first 3 minutes

Never surrender.

Sounds like an oversight. I hope this will be fixed.

William Wallace: I am William Wallace. And I see a whole army of my countrymen, here in defiance of tyranny! You have come to fight as free men. And free man you are! What will you do without freedom? Will you fight?!
Young Soldier: No, we will run and live!
William Wallace: Yes!, Fight and you may die. Run and you will live at least awhile. And dying in your bed many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one chance, just one chance, to come back here as young men and tell our enemies that they may take our lives but they will never take our freedom!!!

Death before dishonour! Never surrender!

But honestly, yea the entire voting system is messed up.
Oh? You want to vote kick xXB35t_Sn1p3r123456789Xx and the votes got 11/8 votes? Too bad! Vote to kick failed.

Here is another reason why you should not give up and after probably the worst stomping i have had yet in Ranked…

I was wondering the same thing. I’ve noticed a lot of posts getting flagged recently, and for essentially no reason. I always thought that flagging a post was saved for things like spam, inappropriate content, name shaming, etc…

Seems like the people flagging those posts are the same ones who surrender.

Just kidding of course, but seriously, what’s up with all of the flagging lately?

Also, hopefully all of the bugs/oversights get fixed soon. There’s been a lot of problems over the past few months, and some things are still left unfixed which is worrying. Stoker’s molotov for instance, still hasn’t been reverted back to its state before the gibbing problem. I’ll keep my hope up though!

Because people percieve your post as spam as it doesn’t contribute to the discussion but wants to derail it into memery?

That’s going all in on so many levels! @Eox should I continue with other monthly batches?!

Okay, let’s calm down.

The forum rules are meant to be quite lax. After all, the forum’s community isn’t that big and we want every users to feel as comfy as possible (so basically to not feel too oppressed by a rigid application of the forum’s rules and guidelines). So far, no rules in the forums prevent people from posting funny things if it revolves around the conversation. It’s sure better if the post also promotes a bit more a constructive discussion, but we’re definitely fine with the idea of a few users using humor in a textual or image format.

It’s not because one guy posts a meme that the whole thread will burst in pepe shaped flames. If it ever gets a bit too far, I’ll just go on the thread and say “let’s go back on topic please”. Honestly most people would just go back on topic after that, it’s no big deal.

If you are the kind of person who likes to post memes a bit too much, try to slow down a bit and post something constructive after your memes. It will always be better recieved.

To other people : try to be more tolerant and take it a bit less seriously. A bit of sillyness never hurts.

Now, let’s go back on topic please.

I know i am not the only one who feels this way. There have been a lot of people leaving ranked matches. I have drawn the short stick way too many times. http://steamcommunity.com/id/RedNeckRedemption/screenshots
