supplydepot2 east rock

Im currently making a tj map for all competition maps.
I have just got everything in place for supplydepot eastwall jump but my only problem is the rock.

I copied and pastied it into my map textured with “shader image missing” along with other several bits and textured it with an image i took out of the supplydepot2.pk3 file. From the directory

models/mapobjects/rocks_sd/rock_temperate_big

Most of the rock is textured except 1 invisible part shown in the screeny.

you might have 2 brushes at exactly the same position there, this tends to lead to invisible brushes…

your best bet btw is ask the creator of supplydepot to copy out that part of the map (map file, not decompiled bsp file) and send it to you… he might not do it, i dont know, but that will get rid of all those nasty decompiling shit…

also dont forget to “redetail” everything as all brushes are made structural when decompiling

Search for detail or strucutral or ‘vis block(ing)’ if you want more info

to make a brush detail select it and press Ctrl+M

if you’re trying to make a trickjump map, its best to make every jump in its own little “room” and make teleporters between the rooms.
Then you can make the room itself structural (all brushes are strucutral by default) and make everything inside the room detail.
