Summer Squash II patch : WTF is wrong with Fletcher ?
Usually if it’s not in the patch notes it’s a bug. That being said, there’s no guarantee it’ll be hotfixed before the next update.
Are they compensating for those, who pull out their detonator manually, like me?
If so, then let us know SD, it is a crucial info.
Yep, same thing. Fletcher is unplayable for me right now. A significant amount of stickies do not detonate like they used to.
Yea theyve been problems with fletchers detonations before, i havent been able to play after update yet, so we’ll have to see.
Exactly . After update , delay between sticky throw and detonator at last stickybomb . i found something when we throw last stickbomb it will auto switch weapon 1 not detonator . that why we will be delayed . Can’t change fast detonator at last stickybomb
I’m using BL21 - without Lock on, with Quick Draw. Haven’t tried other loadouts with Lock On or without both.
I use A31 (cobalt quality B) ) so Lock On does not help . . .
If this is intentional i’m going to break something . . .
Yep, it’s worse if you use detonator manually.
Enjoy this peaceful sticky-spam free time while you can. Right now, we have kinda underpowered engineers.
Ok I spoke with a SD dev’ ingame this afternoon, it’s a bugfix concerning weapons switch which had . . . unforeseen consequences on Fletcher.

Honestly I’m surprised by the low amount of feedback this generated. I was expecting a regular riot 
I feel like they broke the sticky grenades as a way to make us stop using them offensively. Now I have to lay them as traps more than trying to clear out a camp site. Anyone tried throwing a sticky on the Extraction Vehicle? It actually bounces off. I’m like “interesting.” Cause proxy will drop her mine on the E.V. and it phases through to kill players.
Why they have to do that ? Why they don’t delete fletcher that is better =)))))) . Just a bug switching weapon , make him delay switch detonator at last stickybomb . And now we are waiting for them fix it but i don’t know when or never 
Just passing by (a bit late) to remind everyone that since those changes were not listed in the recent patch notes, you can conclude that those changes are very likely unintentional. You have to consider it as a bug.
You guys should check the bug report subforum to see if the bug is already reported. If you can’t find anything, please make a thread about it. If you want you can also try to take a video footage of it, proving further the presence of a glitch.
I shall just revel in the joy of hearing all of the d*cks who play nothing but Fletcher and use stickies as primaries.
But it should be fixed.
If they meant to nerf him in this way… I’ll switch to bushwacker (or turtle??). Sometimes there is a delay, sometimes there is not. That inconsistency means you cant time anything. I’ve never used a card without lock-on. The difference from this patch is huge. You’d be lucky to get 1 sticky off before getting killed unless you do get lucky and it detonates like it used to.
I think a justified nerf would be a slightly longer cool down on the stickies.
