[Suggestion] weapons stat bonuses based on body type

Just a friendly invite to discuss this idea.

What if each body type would get bonuses to their “preferred” weapon type?
In my humble opinion right now, once you pick an archetype, you’re basically committing to pick up certain weaponry. I.e. someone wanting to play a heavy would have no real reason to pick up an SMG as their primary? So these bonuses should above all enhance the gunplay with your archetype’s typically equipped primary weapon.

So here goes the suggestion. For instance:

Heavy - stability bonus to LMG & grenade launchers (RP reason: raw strength to keep the barrel on target)
Light - reload speed bonus to SMG & pistols (RP reason: nimble fingers)
Medium - ??? this one, I believe, should have to be carefully picked so at to not turn medium into a flavour of the month archetype. I was thinking accuracy on ARs but that may well be very overpowered. You guys have any ideas?

Please don’t be too hard on me, I’ve only joined these forums :slight_smile:
Just discuss and maybe this idea can be fleshed out to something that would enhance every archetype’s gunplay.

The weapons are already supposed to be the bonus in and of themselves. There’s no need for intrinsic bonuses as they’re already effectively work out like this.

The weapons themselves currently need to be balanced.
