Suggestion: Slow down player movement within shrubbery

Currently, within the foliage, shrubbery, bushes, etc, a player can run and sprint full speed through them. I realize this game is not a 1-to-1 realistic simulation, but my suggestion would be to limit the player’s movement while within the bushes. I would cut down all movement speed for running and sprinting to 50% (to start) while within the foliage. This amount could change based on play test results.

This would add a small layer of risk-reward tactics to the game. A player can use the shrubs as camouflage if they want to lay in wait while crouching down in them, but then they’re going to be slowed down if they try to escape or run through them.

Of course, with everyone’s requests recently to speed the movement up, maybe this suggestion would not be appreciated by the high-level competitive crowd. Just throwing it up here as something I think would be a neat, little feature to the game, while also slightly pleasing the laws of physics.

I stay away from bushes anyway . Do with them what you please!

Don’t think it’s a good idea to be honest. Any kind of obstacles slowing you down are very annoying in competitive play.

+1. I think it would be more annoying than neat to be honest.

Sounds good. I just thought that it is kind of silly that there are these types of cover that users and turrets can hide in and sprint through yet have no physical properties.
