Why not cut out the map introductions/instructions from all maps after level 5.
After your first 5 levels you should be more than familiar with the mission behind each map.

They said in some other thread that the introductions/instructions are necessary because everyone on the server is loading in while you are watching the introductions/instructions.
Also, without the instructions it would become harder for a player to leave gaming for a few months, come back, and know exactly what to do on each map, especially if there were new maps.
to be honest the introduction doesnt help at all, sinc eyou have a marker on your map showing you where to go and what to do.
waste of time
I don’t mind it, gives me time for one more sip cup of coffee before the game begins. If anything, it would show an more aerial progressive view of the map instead of snapshot-like camera pans of spots A, B and C. For example in Underground, view starting from looking at 2 sides Attackers come through to 1st objective, then moving atop the obj and going inside. And then the next obj and so forth.
Nevertheless at least it’s better option than staring snap-shot screen of the map for same time. Unless it was detailed overview bird-perspective shot. I remember seeing a thread for some pictures from warchest forum but I lost it. That’d be sweeeeet.
I think it would be good for developers to make the map introductions an optional feature. OP has a good point. At the same time I like getting reminded of the objectives and it does give me a moment to sip coffee, crack knuckles, think of my strategy etc. It helps to get into the mood. As coolFortress says, maybe showing a more aerial progression from start to end (fast tracked scenes) would be better / more useful. But only as much as not to spoil it.
This ^
Why not make it an optional thing in the options? If you turned it off, you should just see each other in the spawn. To be honest, I can speak along with the introduction, which gets quite annoying.
I understand how people feel about this but at least have a option to to have it on or off
the best way to go about it is
‘press LMB to skip’ - if it reaches >80-90% of the server, it goes away.
But frankly, we don’t need it at all. AT ALL. first time players will still be clueless about the map, it doesnt change a damn thing.
Don’t you like the announcer’s sexy British voice?
In a more serious tone, it’s not that annoying. It’s only less than 10 secs

But it isn’t something that a level 10 player needs. Unless my account went inactive for a month or something, I already know what I am doing.
But to answer your question, yes. I do.

If you’re level 26, like me, you can perfectly say the EXACT same words at the EXACT same time, without subtitles.
Now, please. Tell me again that it is not annoying. x_x

Yeah, i memorized it too being only level 9, but i like it better than standing idle 15 seconds waiting for the match to start.
