Suggestion: Show us who else have chosen the same objective

I think it would be a great boost to teamplay if player icons clearly illustrated if they had picked the same objective as me. It would make it a lot easier to form ad hoc squads and work together.

good point, but im worried about different halos spammage.

(Psi Brain) #3

I think its a good idea.

(stealth6) #4

Nice idea I thought it’d already been implemented with the objective wheel, but I guess not.

Try opening up your SCOREBOARD. Next to the names on the right it shows their current mission.

(Szakalot) #6

that takes too much time to analyse; compared to a simple indicator on your head, next to the player’s name, or sth like that.

ETQW already had a similar feature, where you would be placed in a fireteam assigned to the same mission system. But the system itself didnt work well in ETQW so the feature was obsolete; whereas in Brink it really does seem useful.

(Smokeskin) #7

Doesn’t work, what you need is the player name be a different color or have a distinct symbol or something on your HUD so you can instantly coordinate with them.

(MrLevi) #8

A lot of people don’t use the objective wheel to choose a mission either, so you’d probably be getting a fair bit of misinformation.

I like the idea of this, would be cool if the people doing same one as u just had a little tick next to there names or something.

Also alot of people dont use the wheel and just go for the main objectives so may become pointless until people start goin side routes etc

(Trypsinogen) #10

Agreed. I think it would also be nice maybe if you are automatically put into a fireteam with the people who are doing the same objective wheel including the person you may be escorting.

Although at this point it wouldn’t matter because nobody chooses objectives and there is rarely voice comm even enabled.

(PillowTalk) #11

It sorta kinda does.

There are numbers under the objective names on the objective wheel. Those numbers indicate how many people are currently assigned to that objective.

That’s a lot different though than actually knowing who specifically is also doing the objective.
