Suggestion: Reset typed messages if canceled

When typing a message in global or team chat it would be nice if that when you cancel the message it clears the text for next time. When you press the chat key after cancelling it currently displays whatever was typed last time when you cancelled which you need to delete first before typing your next message.

I was just whining about this on IRC, the amount of times i’ve typed something, decided against then typed something else just for both to show up is quite annoying.

Isn’t this a feature though, like you’re typing out something wordy but need to drop back into the game before you finish. Not that I ever remember but this also helps when you’re pressed SayAll and meant SayTeam, at least everything is already there.

How about this? Can you not buffer the last 10/5 chats, the last of which would be the unsent buffer and then allow you to scroll through them with the arrow keys?

Oh and to hijack. Vsay shortcuts at the start of any Vsay that is broadcast. kthxdirtybum!
