[Suggestion] Phantom Rework/Ability Idea

The idea of his cloak spotting or “marking” enemies when you are close is NOT LOGICAL.
When you play as Phantom and use the cloak, you are supposed to be the sneaky flanking son of a b**** attacking the enemy UNNOTICED.
If you spot enemies as Vasilli or Redeye they hear an annoying sound and see a “DETECTED” sign at the bottom of their screen. Assuming the spotting would be the same mechanic, phantom wouldn’t be sneaky at all anymore…

It kind of already does mark enemies because it gives you xp when you get near them.

and I was suggesting an ability that he could activate, not just a passive cloak ability.

After reading this I think it would be funny to make it so all deployables within like 3-5 meters of him are debuffed while he’s cloaked. Turrets are slower to lock on or have less RoF, healing stations are slower to heal, mines are 30% slower to explode, heart beat sensor only spots for 50% it’s duration, etc. Kind of like how electronics supposedly mess up with ghosts are around. Maybe give deployables a sparking effect similar to when they’re destroyed to hint there is a Phantom near it.

Probably be better put to a future merc though. Think it would give Phantom and his cloak a lot more utility.

Agree with remove phantom shield, he already has invis, or to be more drastic remove it from game = gg
