Suggestion: Merc Pre-Orders.

So, I came from a game called “Marvel Heroes”. Over there, they have something called the “Advanced Pack”. It’s literally $100 for every character coming out that year. They set up a road-map of what they plan to do, and release characters based on that plan. While I realize that this would be hard to do given that you’re creating the Mercs yourselves, rather than pulling from the lore of a comic book, it wouldn’t hurt to throw groupings of the mercs that are waiting release into $20 grab bags of 4 - 5 of them.

Given you have like… what? 17 wait? That racks up to $60 - $80 with the current 5 and the rest you have yet to release. Make an Ultimate Pack for $50 for all the mercs that have yet to be released from beta test, and honestly? Yeah. Pretty sure everyone in the game would have them.

Id rather not spend 100 on just characters >_> if you’re gonna do something like that give me credits and cases and something special for spending that much money on your game.

If we’re getting technical, it’s not just characters. You also get stashes for each character (it’s a game like Diablo 3, very loot driven, so they give you stash tabs for items specifically for that character), some cards that drop random goodies (like EXP/money buffs), retcon potions (which allow you to change your build around) and if you go for the $120 pack, you get extra costumes for all the characters as well.

Basically, it’s a ridiculously good deal, since you get a ton of characters for a really great price, as well as skins and extras. Pre-ordering said pack, the $120 version anyway, usually nets you two extra costumes/skins, one of which is an Enhanced, which changes voice acting and ability effects. Just saying that the template of that could be useful here, thus why I stated why a pack of all the characters already made, awaiting to be put in should be $50, and for the entire year, something around $100, though it may make more sense to make it $60.

Basically, the cost of a full game.
