Suggestion for EV repair

Or even give players points for defending a engineer repairing.
“Objective Specialist guarded +20xp” sounds so gloriously awesome that I need this!

Why, in the love of unholy hydraulic hand exercise sites, the AFK idle warning looks like in the image below and all we got as a “sign” for peeps that they should be doing something else than scurry around with their stone age tools, is that bloody shy implication we currently have and have been frustrated of for ages?

Giving other mercs points for covering engineers might give them more of an incentive to stick to their role.

Also, it would be nice if an obj specialist from the opposing team can disrepair the EV.

Imagine on a server if a 1 on 1, Bushwhacker on offense vs Fletcher on defense; poor Fletcher will have a hard time disabling the EV.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Just give me friendly fire, I’ll teach 'em. :sunglasses:

“Shotgun! I call shotgun because I… AM AN ENGINEER AND AM ALREADY REPAIRING COVER ME YOU MUPPET.”

I have no problem explaining this to those people because they are typically pretty cool about it and they genuinely did not know they were doing anything wrong.

However, just the fact that we are put into that position at all is ridiculous. I have seen level 10s “assist” in repairing… There needs to be a portion covering this in the tutorial as well as a message pop-up saying to defend the engineer.

A lot of people will continuously do this just because they don’t care to figure out how to play the game but at least the ones who truly do want to learn will be able to figure this out quickly.

There’s a lot of things they really need to add in the tutorial.

I feel this this may help…

It’s in full English… That’s why I think it would help… “teammate repair” sounds like “repair assisting” to a noob.

Shouldn’t it say that "YOU ARE ABOUT TO GET KICKED FOR NOT DEFENDING THE OBJECTIVE SPECIALIST
