Suggestion: Filter 'min/max level' servers

(Cesmode) #1

Just a quick suggestion…when trying to find a server in the Server Browser, it is annoying to see all of the servers that have a level requirement that you do not meet. For a while, I was between levels 6 and 9. As such I could not join the servers that had a maximum level of 5 or the servers with a minimum level of 10. I don’t need to see these in my list. Could we get an option to filter them out?

**Applies less to me now since I think Im lvl 11 now…

It’s something that should be a checkbox filter like any other fps server browser.

You can use the text filter and apply certain filters with a + (include) or - (exclude).

This is my filter for example:

If you want to filter out the max level servers you want to use:

-“max level”

Type in “-Max” in the filter box.

It would be nice to have a button filter, but for now, you can use these c:

-“max level” (Removes all max level servers from the server list)

-“min level” (Removes all minimum level servers)

+“min level” (Means you will ONLY see minimum level servers on the list)

You can also add phrases like “EU” or “AU” into the search field to filter for regions. c: Hope this helps!

in filter, type: -max

that will remove these servers.
you can also use +min which would show up min level servers if they actually existed (extremely rare).

Thanks for the tip on filtering…Ill be honest and say I didnt know that. But like some others have said, this should be a check box just like ‘Objective’ or ‘Stopwatch’.
