Suggestion: Double class system/Gametype.

When SD makes a few more classes are teams going to be able to ban 3 classes each before a match? Or Ban 1 each until more mercs are made.

Rino and Arty will be banned if the game was released right now haha.

I like the ability to pick 5 players! You can then have one of each type to counter whomever.

I would love to see in on SD meetings as they discuss where this game is heading and what major tweaks they are making next. Havent seen a video update in a while. Even though they are mostly outdated at release maybe we can get a sneak peak.

Stats? How is the stat gathering going from this patch? You all know how much I would love to see some :wink:

Idea:
Is there anyway to give Rino a helmet? The Helmet flys off once it takes specific damage?
Example a Saw or Phoenix VS a Rino close to mid/cloes range.

  • Phoenix gets 3 or 4 head-shots and the Helmet fly’s off. Its a scene of accomplishment, PLUS you then know you only have 4 more Head-shots to get…

I think this should also carry over to the Heavy MG mercs also. Fragger and Thunder.

Squad -Ingame changing Class



@ spookify :I like the Helmet thing :cool:
@ Krokodealer : Torch could be an tool for Support class only for side objectives like Opening Sealed doors

Objective class: All primary objec with Plier ,C4 …
Support Class: All secondary Obj with special tools like torch ,Crowbar,PDA mb …

i like this, rookie.
-we have different set of mercs (some mercs are ok for both - sup and obj)
-we have different set of abilities and guns
-everybody can do the secondaries

sounds great.

we need to think of what abilities suit obj-play, and what abilities are better for support class.

i think, that automatic abilities, that work without additional action are good for the objguy - so he can make them once and do the obj.
-turrets (different ones, with variety of Dmg-per-second / HP / spread.)
-hp stations, ammo stations
-mines, mine-fields (wide distribution of very low dmg mines)

and things like medpacks, airstrikes, molotovs, cookable nades, stickybombs that actualy need you to press some buttons - are good for support guys.

We see the same :slight_smile: except I see secondary obj only for Support class

-everybody can do the secondaries

…which make obj dependant of sup guys .
And sup guys class want their share of doing special things ( forum feebacks)
As secondary objs are not essential to reach the end, if Obj class cant do them its OK
Team play: Obj class need supp class /Supp class need Obj class.
Anyway Sec obj should be focus for Support class to ease their Attack tactics like new Paths and stuffs

More Objectives Class Abilities:

Turrets:
-turrets (different ones, with variety of Dmg-per-second / HP / spread.)
-360 deg tur
-Auto mobile Drone (ground (Doom3 like) or air) in small radius near Obj guy

-hp stations, ammo stations
-heal drones
-mines, mine-fields (wide distribution of very low dmg mines)

Misc:

  • Selft projection (clones) cant do damage tho
    -Deployable Shock waves pulse devices (Pulses that dispersing incoming bullits)
    -Deployable Heat/radiation/electric arcs devices Do damage to ennemies in radius
    -Temp Opaque Curtain (illusion or real) illusion :can walk through /real: Cant
    (for covering Activities:Healing someone doing an obj etc…(counter Molotov)

Melee: For All Class
In game Things that could be picked for melee
-Broom :D,Shovel,Hockey stick (like some1 mentioned)…
