I have been playing Dirty Bomb for quite some time and I still sometimes get confused which is soldier and which is field ops. It’s not that I don’t understand the icons, but that when just simply glancing at them they are too similar. Both involve bullets!
Suggestions for me would be “Grenade” icon or “Rifle/Gun” icon.

Roger that. They actually do use that radio icon for the quick class switch icons (F1 - F4). Was confused when I saw that. I guess it must be old.

I think the C4 would be most appropriate. It would clearly identify the team role of the soldier the same way every other class does.
