Suggestion: "Achievement Loadout Case"

Thought it’d be cool to add a loadout or case similiar to the beta fighter cases where if you did certain things in the different gametypes (IE: play X games in a certain gametype, defuse X bombs in EXE, win X rounds as last man standing, etc etc) you would get a 1 time case with a cool skin.

Thoughts? These cases should be for rewarding the players who have invested a lot of time into this great game!

What you described sounds more like Steam achievements to be honest.

Sounds like what Battlefield 4 did. They give you a case for almost everything. Every 100 kills with a weapon, level up in a class, level up as an account, etc etc.
It’s whatever. It sure does encourage people to keep playing if done right. More cases are always nice. And working towards achievements is proven to keep people playing. Everyone wins, really.

Not achievements, in-game goals.

(Ctrix) #5

Same thing really.

if you made the steam achievements unlock in-game rewards then yeah

I posted an idea last night about having some form of sticker book collection that would reward you for collecting all of a specifics merc loadouts. I’ll post the link if your interested in looking at my idea. Anyway, the idea of getting cases for reaching certain goals. what sort of cases would you give out for example? I think your idea hinges on what the reward is.

Read it in Fletcher’s voice: absolutely yes!

I imagine the milestone thingos would be in the thousands? As in, if it were get X amount of defuses or something, X would be in the thousands. Since you said the cases would be a one time special thingo. That’d be pretty damn cool.
