It seems as though a number of people don’t understand that Standard & Advanced = Bots, while Competition & Old Skool = No Bots. And there have been complaints that there is no place in bots in multiplayer. I tend to agree. But just to avoid any argument of whether or not bots belong in multiplayer, I think it would be a good idea to somehow let the player know what’s what.
Besides the lag, I think this is another thing that will push many people away because they think that no matter what bots are going to be in multiplayer unless they find a full game (this has RARELY happened to me playing Standard matches). I know it took me a couple days until I realized that I can play WITHOUT bots. There are people on my friends list who have had the game for almost a week and they still don’t know that they can play without bots.
I just hope SD realizes this and fixes it. It’s a very very very simple fix, all they have to do is add text to the match description. To be honest, I have no idea how they didn’t think of this in the beginning! How can people have known? There was no pop-up or ANYTHING.
