That seems boring. I like the merc specific missions because they vary the game a little.
[Suggestion] A better mission system
Aren’t merc specific missions a hell of a lot different now? You have to just have them in your squad now, right?
Not saying it’s a good system, but it’s better than forcing someone to play with a specific merc… Instead, you’re sacrificing a slot in your loadouts which is going to be completely useless.

It’s always been just in the squad. Before it was complete X games, now they made it to gain appropriate XP. It was changed because before people would just stick the merc in their squad and forget about it, but now it encourages actually using that merc.

I was always looking to join end of the game though

Elevators do count towards secondary objectives.[/quote]
I never play them though. They sit in the back ground, and then when people want a medic, I’m all like “sorry, Nexon wanted me to have A FREAKING FRAGGER in my squad.”

All my slots have purpose:
Depending on the mode, and, team, and part of the game, I will change my charactor.
If it is a Plant C4 mission, on attack I use phantom because of this cloaked C4 plant.
On def I use Aura, because I main medic.
If it is a repair objective, and I am attacker I will play as Proxie.
On def I will play as Aura.
If the objective is to deliver, and I am on attack I will play as Phantom, because he has the highest HP in my load out.
On def I will play as proxie, because then I can place mines to guard that object.
If an EV mission, I will play as Aura on both attacker and def.
To give a better idea:
On bridge:
Round 1 - Proxie: Repairing EV
Round 2 - Aura: Guarding the EV
Round 3 - Phantom Delivering OBJ
SO NO! There is no useless card in my load out.
That’s why I do this
Slot 1: Engineer
Slot 2: Fire Support/Recon/Assault
Slot 3: Medic
What I don’t know is why do people always feel the need to do every role?
Sometimes you can just roll with 3 mercs that are set around killing the enemy team. I personally leave the objective to my team (BECAUSE THERE’S ALWAYS AT LEAST 4 OTHER PLAYERS HAVING AN OBJ SPECIALIST…), so I just roll with Phantom, Fragger and Kira(most of the time).
If you think about it, it’s not particularly helpful to the team, but these mercs tend to dish out a lot of damage.
I heard in one of the DB videos that they took ideas from Mobas to make DB.
So I just went with probably the moba I played most, Dota 2, over there there’s a carry role, a support role, disabler, intiator and so on…
So with that idea in mind, I play the carry role. A carry, in dota, has the role of getting farmed, last hitting creeps and possibly enemies for bonus gold and just tends to avoid fights in the early game.
In DB on the other hand, “a carry” would be someone that can secure kills easily in a short timespan, Phantom and Fragger are amazing mercs to have if you want to do exactly that. Kira can also decimate teams with her laser which is also a good “carry” ability.
