Suggest People to Invite!

(theselol) #141

We’re in desperate need of NA testers and competitive teams. I have two VERY active players that used to be in one of the few competitive brink teams with me. They also have extensive FPS experience besides Brink, and would love to contribute their ideas.

Yup, Indloonshould definitely be here!

Others (hopefully noone gets angry at me for making the following suggestions, it is very likely i forgot someone, hopefully these will never see that forum post :P):

crapshoot
gaoesa
IRATA
Radegast
shagileo
Shownie

All mainly devs from the W:ET section, some of them even beyond W:ET from what i know. Am sure everyone of these guys can provide valuable feedback.

(Dragonji) #145

IRATA and Radegast are Linuxers :stuck_out_tongue:

(acQu) #146

Ah uh >.< Nevermind then, totally forgot

(DarkangelUK) #147

At this point please just invite anyone! We need new players!

(Rex) #148

“invite anyone” is such a bad idea…

(DarkangelUK) #149

And you taking it serious and at face value is such a bad idea

Hi,

I have a name to put forward.

I worked with him on developing a streaming site for DOW2 for quite a while. Also played ~50 hours of Brink with him; he held a similar view to me (and so many others) that it showed a lot of promise, was very fun, but a missed opportunity. He works in software development / web design and has been developing several (indie) games of his own for a while. His opinions on games and the industry in general are usually intelligent and well thought. I’m sure he’d be able to offer useful input and feedback, and would be an asset to the alpha / beta.

He hadn’t previously registered an SD forum id, but I asked him to for this. It’s:

Thanks

I just rechecked. IRATA and Radegast have access to windows. They are mainly linuxers though, but certainly would provide good feedback and most likely would be willing to fire up windows for playtests.

(bighogins) #152

Have a long time FPS gamer who has extensive years playing FPS for almost 20 years now, who is running windows 8 64 bit (I’m sure we could always use some windows 8 testing right now). He spent years and years playing RTCW and moved onto ET/ETQW and a little bit of a brink. He is a US player and it seems like we could use some more US players to get some more in game testing going on right now.

(Kiddspooky) #153

Capt_cal should get an invite for the N.A servers.

He has played many hours of all of your games, and has enjoyed them very much. He is a very active gamer, and will be pretty vocal with likes and dislikes. He has played pretty much every triple A game, including many, many indie games.

I think he would be a great addition, if possible please invite him.

Thanks!

we need more competitive NA players and these two are rtcw all stars. they would be able to provide invaluable information on weapon, class and map balance

in the current state the NA servers are dead with maybe 2 - 3 players on in the evening. it is not enough for adequate testing

He basically runs Australia’s ET/RTCW scene. Has been around a long time. Pretty much the type of person you would want to help test out the game.

Even if it’s mostly about client testing and balancing issues at this stage, I think it would be good to get some more server/community minded guys in so they can take a peek and give some feedback from a “4rt person” view. I think some are here already and there are plenty of good ones around on the general forums, but I would like to suggest the following 2, as they have always worked hard to build good communities around SD (and other) games:

http://forums.warchest.com/member.php/35203-DrD3ath

(admin of OhMyStrogg (rip) and OhMyBrink)

http://forums.warchest.com/member.php/34617-Patriotqube

(admin of the qubenet servers)
