Anticheat and in game report is needed ASAP!
Alredy said this in one post but i made a discussion cuz i think this needs more look into it…

  • option to save the hole game in spectate mode and a specific video opener in game or something, and make the video to save with minimal amount of mb’s for easier transfer) If u wanna check what i mean - i remeber that from fps game i played long ago = Crossfire - they have it in there! = https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v3m25DTGsW4

And spectate has some problems , it lags and its innacurate (not showing sniper shooting the head but he gets headshot and similar stuff) - look into this pls, cuz its harder to detect cheater that are hiding the hack.

Demo’s are in the UE engine by default I’m pretty sure. They just need to enable them. I’m pretty sure though that in the state they are right now, they’d be extremely buggy.

Funny I tried to record demos yesterday.

The option is there (demorec [name]; demostop ; demoplay [name] : in the console) and it seems to record a demo just fine.
However playback doesn’t work.
A demo recorded in the training hub played no problem, but recordings of networkplay doesn’t play back propably (gets stuck in the loading screen indefinitely, tho one can hear some of the audio)

Would be pretty cool if that could be fixed. I know recording video is the standard today, but for people with weak machines and to improve the quality of promo videos (play in low settings for the fps, record later with higher settings) it would be great.

Not sure what the best software is for game recording, but I use fraps (which causes very large files). That said, I think import the file into powerdirector and save it as a wmv. A couple videos I did a few days ago were each 1 gig, but after converting in powerdirector they were 80 megs (which I think uploaded to youtube in a couple of minutes).

Do not use Fraps to record anything. Unless it’s changed recently it records by taking bmp images and stringing them together. This kills your game as you play.

Use something like Nvidia Shadowplay (if you have Nvidia…AMD might have something similar now) or OBS. Both are free and pretty good and won’t kill your game as you play.
