Is it just me that keeps getting alerts about posts that happened many days ago?
For example, I just got one alerting me to this post that was made on 1st October 2009, 07:45

I’ve not had this issue myself, but perhaps this is due to vbulletin queuing several emails up and then batch-sending them? I’m really unsure if that’s the way vb actually works - if anyone can shed any light on this, I’d appreciate it.

I guess it depends what options one chooses in the section ‘Default Thread Subscription Mode’

Oooh, good find ailmanky. shibby, can you check your settings there? Sounds like your subscriptions might be set to weekly…
