Stuttering (not lag/fps) on Dome

(Matuno) #1

I’m surprised no threads are up on this yet, because every time I ask in game there are always a few others experiencing the same problem.

On Dome I’m getting a lot of stutter (not to be mistaken with FPS drop/lag). It runs at around 160 FPS, but has very frequent stutters throughout the match.

With stuttering, I mean that it ‘freezes’ for a millisecond or two intermittently, even through my framerate is high and consistent, and my ping is around 24.

It occurs a lot more when I have open space in view, and especially a lot when graphics effects like smoke and flames are near me.

No other maps exhibit this problem.

I just removed my FPs configuration and used the default one instead, it works fine now. Heck, the game even performs better with higher graphics settings =/

Nope, I’ll make a recording of what I get.
It doesn’t happen with a non-tweaked config, only with tweaks applied.

Hello, thank you for reporting this. I’ll look into it.

Thank you Noxie

Also, I have to retract my statement about it only happening with tweaked configs. It just did it with everything set to low (on a fresh, game-generated ShooterEngine)
