  1. how do I zoon in/out views in quad?

  2. how do I move a view left/right/up/down?

(G0-Gerbil) #2
  1. Shift + right click drag
  2. right click drag

Not very experimental are you? :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks.

Sigh…another question. How do you select multiple vertices in drag vertices mode?

…and why is there a limit to how far I can drag a vertex?

…and, is there a way to add a pair of vertices to a brush instead of having to turn the brush into 5-sided, rotating it, and putting it in place?

I don’t wish to double-post, but I would kinda like some help…

It sounds like you are too dependent on the vertex manipulation tools. They are good for some things, but for many other applications the clipper tool is much more valuable.

ctrl-x, check it out.

Brushes must be convex.

In general, the vertex edit tool is a bit clunky. This thread
http://www.splashdamage.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2523
has some hints on using it.

Brushes must be convex.

I know.

CTRL-X?!?!? THAT TERMINATES THE APPLICATION YOU DUBMASS!

Oh, well.

It’s almost like having our friend Andy around

to drag out a brush (solid)
now with the brush selected hit the (E) key on your keyboard E for Edges.
you’ll see the vertexs turn to blue dots.
you’ll notice blue dots also represeting the edges or space between vertexs.
all of these blue dots can be draged in cam view or in mappers x,y,z views.
(E) key turns it back off

hope that helps
