I have this Problem and its really annoying. It started suddenly few days after last little update midweek.
So when i start the game, i am able to play one match and then if i stay in the lobby and the next map is loaded i get stuck in the “press any button to continue” screen, no matter what gamemode or what server. I hear all the gunshots and everything, but seems like the game is not realizing that i press the buttons like a madman. This is pretty annoying because i play ranked mostly, and it means i miss the first 1-2 minutes of the match until i force the game to shutdown and restart this slow piece of beautiful game <3
I re-installed the game, after deleting my config and gamefiles. Checked the gamefiles, made new config and everything and i still have this bug. I am using Win 7 system with nvidia gt320 and i5 cpu.

Oh seems like not everything got posted. I tried to re-install the game and delting my files, nothing helped. plugging out my 2nd display out of my graphic-card before system start didnt worked either. I am using Win 7 with intel i5 cpu and nividia gt320.
ppl pls help me to get rid off this nasty bug ( ･ั﹏･ั)

Has it always been like this, or is it a bug that only recently started appearing?

rly suddenly, havent changed anything depending system or game settings
Oops, sorry, somehow missed that.
Thing is, I’m thinking that something gets real messy when the splash screen goes away and the game is supposed to render the environment on the fly.
Try resetting your config files. Just back up the files you have in Users/Documents/My Games/ShooterGame/Config and delete the files there. Boot the game again, it will make new config files. See if it loads then.
Your graphics card is was entry-level cheap hardware… 7 years ago. That’s one thing that concerns me. Still, that wouln’t explain why the problem has started occurring just now.

but i have done this allready, i did it 3 rd time now for scientifical reasons and so on ^^ didnt helped me, also i dont think my graphics card is the problem, its handling other games and dirty bomb was pretty good with 70 fps for 35 levels, but suddenly after 600 hrs idk what happened. i hoped wiping all the data from my harddisk and set all to default would change smth, but it did nothing at all
You really reset your config files? Removing the game from Steam doesn’t remove your config, mind you.
yes yes, i made backup of them and erased them out of the unrealengine 3 folder and restarted the game…but idk, my button binds somehow stayed the same maybe i did smth wrong?
Has to be if your binds are not default and still stick, seeing as those are saved in ShooterInput.ini.
What’s in your Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dirty Bomb\Binaries folder?
well seems like im not the only one with this bug. people made a thread up today with the same issue. this timing tho, exactly the day i bought a new zowie mouse :neutral:
