Strange lag

When I join a server my fps is stable above 120 and everything is fine, but after a few minutes this huge lag jumps in and makes the game almost unplayable. The fps doesn’t drop when this happens and i haven’t noticed anything strange happening with my computer so im guessing it’s the games fault. Anyone know what can cause this or how to fix it?

Don’t worry, it’s the game’s fault as it is still in very beta stages. To fix this try the following:

  1. Verifying your game files (Maybe this lag is due to corrupted files)
  2. Turning down to low, this will help with your fps jumps and make it more stable for the time being.
  3. In steam go to the games properties and set launch options: -novid

I am having this exact same issue, and graphics settings have no effect whatsoever. FPS remains at 100 plus but the game feels like it’s stuttering after five or so minutes.

It feels like a memory leak, as the next round will be fine, but this is not the case. Something is causing the game to lag horrendously after a while rendering it unplayable.

If anyone out there has any idea what is causing this a reply would be greatly appreciated as the game has an incredible amount of potential and I would love to be able to play more.

Specs in case it helps - FX8320 @3.9GHz, 8gb RAM, GTX 680.
