The last couple of days I’ve had what I thought was a problem with my wireless keyboard derping out at random moments and forcing me to walk in a certain direction until I face-roll all the keys until the problem goes away. This happened again last night quite suddenly in the middle of a match. I couldn’t strafe left. I couldn’t get it sorted. I was about to swap out the batteries (again) when I thought of checking my control scheme. Can you guess what I found?
“Strafe left” had magically become bound to MOUSE1 (fucking seriously) and A was now unbound. Of course, what I thought was the result of my keys being stuck down was actually my avatar being forced to move sideways by MOUSE1.
“But, Mr Cow, had you not just been playing for several minutes without problem?”
Why yes, yes I had; and that is what makes this really concerning, because as far as I know something is making changes to my local files ingame without me knowing it, and then changing them back momentarily. Spooky, no?
I would really appreciate a response about this.
