Who likes and who dislikes Stoker? Myself I am enjoying playing Stoker lately, He is a very strong Merc in the right hands! “IMO”

I love the great british barbecue. Not to dump on peoples’ opinions, but the only ones who hate this jolly arsonist are bunched up teams in Aura encampments.
Yeah I agree, I literally have no complaints about stoker. He is perfectly balanced imo and SD did an excellent job with him. I’d prefer his CD shorter, but only because I like to set things on fire all the time.
Am I the only one who dies in less than half a second when a Stoker directly throws a molotof at my face ? I encountered a couple of Stokers today, and this felt incredibly frustrating. Is that a bug ? Because I do not think the Molotov should be able to one shot you out of nowhere.
I actually picked Stoker one time today to try out the molotov : I managed to instantly kill a full life Skyhammer with a close enough Molotov throw. This does not feel legit to me.

I think the molly deals 60 damage on a direct hit and 20 damage per tick (2 ticks/sec), but unless the Skyhammer just decided to stand still, they still should’ve had enough time to jump out.

The average human reaction speed is about a second. Thus, with a direct hit, before the Skyhammer has a chance to react, they got 20 just hit points left out of their 120. That is basically a stray bullet away from dying. And as for jumping aside, well, that depends on where you are. You might be in a crowded tunnel where it is too easy to bump into walls or even ceiling in some cases. Not to mention that you might not know where the molotov spreads out.
But if there is a nerf needed for the molotov, in my opinion it should be less damage per clicks on the EV. (The molotov already acts like an excellent deterrent, so the amount of damage it deals feels just a little bit too much.)
Sure molotov does an insane amount of damage. And I think it should, you’re basically wasting an ability with a 40 second cooldown on one person.
He’s a very good all rounder, he has excellent area of denial with the Molotov and it’s hilarious when I get double kills (or more) with it (usually a person and a pocket medic). The Molotov also works on the EV to damage it and kill people around it as well so I have at least one merc at all times in my squad who can do something significant to the EV even if it’s isn’t as convenient as Skyhammer’s airstrike. The ammo station works for whenever my team is bunkered down.

He didn’t. I just outright instantly killed him when I threw the Molotov. I do think there’s a bug around.
Given the length of his cool down, I have little problem with Stoker. If you intend to throw the Molotov directly at people, you’d do better with Fragger’s lower cool down and higher overall firepower.
