Stopwatch: mission progress broken

(FireWorks) #1

Ok I hate to play stopwatch already but this bug makes me hate it even more.

The complete gain of the first round gets wiped and only the second round is applied to progress in missions.
Ive read about it already with credits but couldnt find the thread. The same **** goes with the missions too.

After running 16mins against defenders I get 39kills. Then they stomp us in no time and I get barely 1k combat XP after wasting my whole time there?

I dont mind having an occasional SW for a mission but having a bigger loss (ok, less gain) than just playing normal Objectives in the mean time is really really frustrating.

On the same page: Please consider counting SW as 2 matches for progress on “Play X matches with Y merc”. Same thing, lot of time invested for half the gain.

I’m not exactly following what you’re saying but I think they need to rethink their approach to missions. They shouldn’t require a specific mode imo. It can only get more annoying as they add more modes. And like you pointed out, objective mode is the best way to approach missions even when you don’t have an objective specific mission by far.

Missions with a specific mode is a way to try an get people to play other game modes other than their favourite, otherwise most players would stick to 1.
Just commenting on that point, to me it’s neither bad nor good.

Hope I can make it a bit clearer then cause I mixed a rant with a bugreport.

There is a bug: The first SW round does not count XP for mission progress. (and others reported it does not for credits either)

Example: You need 12k combat XP for your fresh mission. You score 4k combat XP in the first round, you score 1k combat XP in the second round. After the whole match, you have 1k of 12k as the total of your combat XP mission.
