Stops working on launch

Hi there

Simple really, Brink stops working when I launch it.

Attemped Fixes -
Running as Adminstrator - Didn’t work
Reinstalling - didn’t work
deleting local files and updating - didn’t work
Verrifying steam files - didn’t work
Updating DirectX - again didn’t work.
Disabling 3D buffering - didn’t work.

Additional info - Got the game today (UK) Never played before at all first time install.

System specs
Intel Duo quad Core 2.5ghz
Nividia GeForce 9800GTX (should run low specs)
500GB harddrive (checked I have enough space to run)
4GB RAM
OS: Windows Vista 64bit

your right it is quiet simple

My brink also fails to launch every time

ive done every thing i possibley can to fix it but nothing has worked

we can only hope for a patch

but thats not going to happen for a little while because

the game comes out in london tonight and then

hopefully they will make a patch or something

oooorrr they cooouuld just screw US ! who knows

Mine is doing the exact same thing but freezes need help.

After updating my graphics card drivers it works now, just been in the character creation menu and messed about not tried a game yet.

SAME PROBLEM!!! ARGHHH also how do i view posts that i have made/commented on when i log out… :\

Try updating your GFX drivers, I have a Nividia GeForce 9800GTX at the moment, I know its a pain to update drivers but it worked for me when nothing else did.
