I already explained you that the biggest issue with Phantom is how he does not fit into the current game mix, especially in competitive/low players up to 6vs6 scenarios where every single merc choice counts. He does not fulfill anything useful to the team. Rework and fiddling here and there wont do anything about that.
Same for Proxy. Mines are Mines and deserve to be one the most powerful explosive of the game. Shotguns are annoying due to bunnyhopers, yes. But with one or two adjustements in their damage distribution, they are actually turning fairly balanced weapons, with a broader usability than just one shotting at corners. In any situation where Iâd aim for efficiency with an engineer, Iâd never pick Proxy. Even Bushwacker is a way stronger merc in most situation you could face. Fletcher, when servers are actually good, is still a monster and this is a real issue you canât detect in public plays.
Burst rifles - first get them debugged.
About PDP, Grandeur and Dreiss, well, in good hands, theyâre to me awesome weapons. I definitely wonât move them from where they are sitting now. At least for now. Theyâre high skill ceiling, yes, and possibly way too strong once you get a good grip on them still.
In a nutshell, dont isolate merc and weapon issues to spefics. Merc are sometimes oftenly used on public but theyâre very far from useful overall.
