Stop lying hater, my friends list is full of Brink players on Xbox 360

There is a lot of hating going on here coming from the secrete CoD d*** riding idiots. You don’t like the game, cool, but don’t lie and say no one is playing, because lots of people are playing on 360. Just because your friends quit to go back to Black Ops doesn’t mean everyone in the world has… Just jump into a competitive match on 360 and see for yourself. Another strat that helps is to add people that play the kind of games you like. So if you get into a game with one guy, add him and so on and one day you’ll look up and your friends list will be full of people playing Brinks hardcore. Jump into a party add the other guys to a party jump in a competitive match and invite party, we do this ish everyday!

My mate in the UK is on the 360 and there’s too many games to choose from according to him

US players seem to be having problems. And YES so many people trying to bring this game down, I don’t believe a word of it

I envy those of you that are enjoying full games. Despite having tried all of the available modes, AND campaign, I haven’t been in a match with more than 2 other humans in over a week. Their seems to be a huge difference in human-player numbers between Europe and N America?

Sorry for PC, I see this game is dead already. I barely see 600 server and less then 150 players?

Other COD and BF series game got more players then this and even ET got more servers and players.

Yes, I love the game but where are players? I am one of 150… I bet it’s less then 150 but I am optimistic.

I’m over in New York and I have the same problem. I havent played since the first day of the lag fix, but I just cant stand playing this game sometimes for the exact same reason.

Why did they put bots in this game in the first place?
If there was a lobby system like EVERY successful MP series, the wouldnt have been a need for bots as fillers.

It just seems like such an easy issue to fix and they’re not fixing it.

Same thing here. I am at florida and i never play with people. Every night i do the same thing religiously. I turn on brink. spend 20-30 minutes looking for online matches with people. Find nothing. Switch to another game (infamous)

same, im lucky if i can get in a game of 3v3, and thats in competitive mode or old skool. And i personally dont think i should have to fill my friends list with randoms just to enjoy a game, id like to keep it just to FRIENDS, isnt that what its for?

It’s not about the quantity, it’s the quality. There are quite a few servers that are always full during prime time, it just depends on the type of server config people are into. You just have to know what to look for:penguin:

One reason might be the fact that a lot of Brink players like to team up, blocking opportunities for others to join the game.

But that’s the point of the game…to get a team together. I just got off xbox after playing with 7 humans on my team and 5 on the opposing team. I was in a party of 5.

You gotta friend Brink enthusiasts out there to get any human game time. There’s PLENTY on these forums! You just gotta read the right threads and FR!

I played 8v8 most of the day yesterday. Every so many matches there were one or two bots. Later on, we played a match that was 8 of us vs 7 bots, but then people joined and it was once again 8v8. This game gets very hard when it is full, which is more often then people try to claim. Fun game. But very challenging.

oh, btw, YES i’ve played most COD games, but singleplayer side only, not a big fan of the KDR hoaring gameplay…but thats just me

Just so I’m clear…you’re claiming I’M LYING? That those of us posting about the lack of human players are in fact basking in rooms full of them…but choose to LIE ABOUT IT?

What would be achieved by lying about something like that?

And while we’re exchanging questions, who the **** are you to claim I’m a liar, you supercilious, patronising ****?

I’m in San Francisco and play Brink on the PC. I have no life so I play at all hours of the day. It is difficult to find a nearly full server to join in the middle of the day (say 9am - 6pm) but then everyone with a job/life comes home and the servers start to fill up. When the game first came out I liked joining the 8 player matches because humans vs. bots was hilarious but since the most recent patch I only see 16 player matches and it’s a lot more fun when your opponents aren’t as predictable.

Also, I’ve been added to quite a few people’s friends lists and it seems to me that when I get onto a server that isn’t quite full it fills up almost immediately.

However, I think it would have been cool if SD figured out a way for the PC and console people to play Brink together.

Time difference may be significant, but given that some large US ciities are in my timezone, I must admit I’m surprised at how hard it is to find human players here in Alberta.

Sadly, when I return to the UK, I live in an area too isolated to get a strong broadband connection, so it’ll be me and the bots on my shiny new 360 slim. Plus Skyrim and Rage, of course!:smiley:

The ‘no peeps’ problem seems intermittent (?) , as I got a good game about a week and half ago, just nothing since…:frowning:

Sadly, as a squaddie, I know nothing about the architecture of a MP game - I’d always assumed bots were plugged in to produce games in a timely manner and reduce waiting times?

We have a group of forum members on here who play the 360! You should try joining in and you will have more people to play with!

Brink is 35 matches away from 1 million matches played. People are playing.

read people read!!! Select competive mode and add people whp play, if you got 360 go over to the last tab in the friends list menu and it will show you people you have met online.

Through the community game night thread we’ve started we’ve had full competitve and big team games almost every night on 360. My friends list must have 40-50 brink players added through play and the forums. If you’re a 360 player feel free to add your GT to the thread in my signature or shoot me a friend request if you want.

I’m trying to get some games started around 9PM EST tonight if anyone is interested.
