Stoker Suggestion

So after playing as and against Stoker for awhile now I had a suggestion for his molotov. I feel the current implementation of the molly is a bit too similar to other mercs roles like Fragger. I would really like to see it changed slightly to be used more as a deterent and less to get direct kills. A suggestion I’d like to see tried out:

-getting rid of the impact damage or lowering it and making the damage ramp up over the first few seconds but ending up higher then the current 40 dps it is now. For example it starts at 25dps and ramps up to say 55 dps for the last few seconds. Possibly lowering the CD or something to help counter balance this change. I think this would still keep it a very viable option but change it’s main purpose from killing people to more focused on denying or delaying the enemy.

No need, it’s already fairly easy to get away from the flames. It already acts as a deterent yet it can still get you kills. What fun is a pyromaniac who’s fire can’t kill?

It is good as it is. It is okay to be damaged/killed by molotov, because your enemy just wasted area denial with 40 seconds cooldown.

only thing that bothers me about it is that the slightest touch is enough to kill, should be a damage over time kinda deal rather than an instant chunk of damage. besides damage over time would feel right considering it is just fire. maybe if it directly hits someone that character is then set alight and will take D.O.T. even when they run away from the area of impact.

I dunno, just feels like it might as well be a grenade the way it is at the moment.
