(Stoker) Molotov Martyrdom: Bad idea or REALLY bad idea?

Just something that occurred to me a while ago when I was playing Stoker, after getting killed as I was about to pop a molotov on a few very deserving enemies.

What if Stoker had the ability to drop his Molotov after being incap’d, finishing himself and leaving a pool of napalm for your foes to deal with afterwards?

This would still be tied to the Molotov Grenade’s cooldown, hence you couldn’t Martyrtov if you don’t have a Molotov ready, and using it would activate the Molotov Grenade’s cooldown.

Needless to say, this is a terrible, terrible idea. Just posting this poll for the lolz I guess. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I just think that with the length of stokers molotov CD, anybody who doesnt know what they are doing would just waste the ability. So, that team would pretty much have a useless stoker.

Unless they would be two completely separate abilities; but even then, I still don’t think it would really work.

On offense, it probably wouldn’t matter much honestly, but on defense? Just use your guns till you drop dead, press F and 10sec area denial.
Sit on top of C4’s or key generators and unless they instagib you, it’s safe for 10sec most likely as I haven’t seen his fire being cleared too often. Spawntimer -10sec for defense.
Good luck playing offense against that.

Most Stokers seem to bind Molotov to Mouse 1, basically same result.

You could literally go around enemies without shooting them and just let them shoot you in the face, once you die a pool a fire will kill then.

Its like the most avoidable stuff ever. You know what really shouldnt be in that game ? Shotgun.

It would fall like 10 cm. Probably make a flame about 20 cm wide. Pretty rubbish. Regardless it’s a terrible idea and you should feel bad for thinking about it.
