Stoker bug : cancel incendiary

(Izzy) #1

I noticed that if I am about to through an incendiary with sotker, but at the very last minute I knife, change weapon or do an action to cancel it, my nade is not thrown but the timer starts over.

Is it a bug or is it in purpose ?

That happens with Fragger’s grenade too. Might also happen with Redeye’s smoke, but I don’t have much play time with him, so I wouldn’t know.

I’m pretty sure it’s a bug.

It should be going on partial cooldown not a full cooldown (I’ll have to check) but, same with Fragger’s grenade - this is intended.

What"s the point of putting it in partial cooldown? I don’t quite see the logic behind. I mean, sometimes, I need to quick throw a nade and get my knife right away. Result, my nade doesn’t work and I have to wait again to get it back. I would understand that you can’t cancel it, but once you can, it shouldn’t be something that penalise you.

Not a bug it is part of the design.
