basically a “frost grenade” that:

[li]slows player movement down,
[/li][li]has a wider area of effect,
[/li][li]does no damage (would overpower the incendiary grenade),
[/li][li]used against incendiary grenades, to counter the effect (extinguish the flames) and vice versa (incendiary grenades extinguish the frost/ice), but neither stick around since it was used for the counter effect

Would love a slow grenade, I thought it could be done with caltrops, but ice/frost also works.

Makes damage
Makes smoke (not technically smoke, but same thing)
Slows down.

Direct Hit Freezes you for 1 second.

The issue here is that cancelling a Mercs ability with someone elses ability is very unfair due to the small number of abilities in the game…

I would have liked frost and ice to make people fall OR slide (remove ground control) would be much funnier. Also yea, wanna see slows also :smiley:

it could work both ways, fire can cancel out ice, and vice versa, but neither would stick around afterwords

the fall sounds more complicated than simply slowing player speed,
the fall would require another animation, etc but how many times are they gonna fall to get through the ice? just once?

I like the idea that a direct hit would freeze for one second, but if damage is added to the grenade then it would make the fire grenade useless.

would love to see this in-game
