These are simply my suggestion, no numbers are concrete
30 second cooldown
-10 damage per tick
+5% radius
Sound good?

Maybe make it +10% radius though. Might as well go full retard on the radius if we’re gonna make the damage more reasonable.

No. Reducing the cooldown is a no go since multiple stoker could lock down areas way too easly. Also I wouldn’t reduce the damage per tick of an ability that is supposed to create a DoT AoE for an aera denial purpose.

I’d rather no changes other than them maybe unnerfing the direct hit damage, but I doubt that would happen. People’s own faults for believing the myth that a direct hits means they die on a low hp merc.

Nah, just make it so the molotov starts with dealing 5 DPS and then every second it’s on the ground increase the DPS by 10 until it reaches 30, so after 2.5 seconds it will do the max damage.
The molotov will still stop people from rushing/defusing but you just won’t get much kills with it.
Maybe make it so direct hits will set you on fire to make it cool and more realistic - 40 damage for being hit and then 10 damage every second for 10 seconds (picking up a health pack or getting healed by Phoenix will extinguish you and getting healed by a health station will make the flames run out 3 times faster)

5 damage for every second for 5 seconds. 100 burn damage overtime is OP

But, what about Kira? For only a ten second longer cooldown you can do basically the same thing, albiet only outdoors, but regardless
