Ok so I asked twice on forums, once to a ?dev and no answer.

Where is the config file so I can edit/adjust mouse settings more directly OR what are the console commands for mouse settings that are available. I assume its all unreal 3 stuff? but where is the config file? I cant find it, although I do admit to not tearing up my whole computer to find it- I do have work too you know

also, turn on Friendly Fire in some servers for the purists please. The game is too silly without it (yes I do not want to hear from the so called experts about Tk rage etc and all the things they themselves are guilty of doing with FF on- been there 1000x’s done that).

There are two config files, one for the graphics & stuff and one for the controls etc.

Users - - Documents - My games - UnrealEngine3 - Shootergame - Config

Edit the ShooterEngine.ini for graphic related business, edit the ShooterGame for input related stuff.

Friendly fire doesn’t fit the game in its current state in my opinion. I do understand there’s ā€˜hardcore’ people like you though, so maybe it would be nice to have a few servers running it. There must be an option to choose between regular servers and FF-enabled servers though, if they decide to do it.

all we who want FF enabled are asking is to have a few servers in each region to play on - should not be asking too much

If it stayed like that, sure. But I could see whining in the future about balance, or griefing and maintenance requirements. Now they have to worry about an extra set of servers with different options. They have to be tested every release as well. It’s not as simple as one may think.

I don’t see a lot of games that have both FF enabled and disabled servers anymore. If SD decided to do it, more power to them. But I wouldn’t get my hopes up.

fine just make it so FF is enabled on all servers and the new players and noobs will just have to get better. Happy?

Competitive with FF, casual without. Easy. Of course competitive has to become active first, but that is just a matter of time.

Are you sure? I couldn’t find Sensitivity in there. I know it’s in ShooterInput, but changing that does nothing for me. I had to set it in-game. The command for sensitivity is SetSensitivity . And yes, it is all UE3 commands.
