Sticky bombs are nearly useless in teamfights.

Sticky bombs have the habit of deflecting from teammates blendign in the enviroment so you loose track of them in fast situations. I got killed 3 tiems by my own sticky bombs because someone ran infront of me while i was throwing them which made them disapear. after i threw another blowing it up i quickly realised that i had an invisible sticky bomb at my feet which for some reason one hit killed (while i need apearently 2 stickybombs to the face to kill a proxy concistency).

Use your mines in the front if you are trying to destroy a medic station or turret. Then retreat to the back line and use your guns. You are a support character.

Proxy may need 2 bombs to kill her if she is using unshakable. 100 damage - 20% = 80 damage. Proxy has 90 health.

@Sniff I don’t think the first part answered the main issue. When you throw your stickies, it can bounce off of allies, and you can kill yiurself if you didn’t notice that happening. This occurs most when a teammate us blocking Fletcher.

You can die if you don’t notice a lot of stuff. Be aware.

Keep your distance, hold the sticky to throw it further, and angle it slightly… and pray someone doesn’t walk in front so you have to pick it up like it’s a baseball.

Cause there’s no crying in baseball son.

Fragger has the same problem. So does proxy. Skyhammer bounces too. Nader is the bounce master. In fact with arty if a team mate or enemy gets in the way of arty’s laser resets the counter. Same with Kira. Every merc has the problem of if a team mate gets in the way then it disrupts something of theirs. Don’t forget Vassili!

It’s not exclusive to Fletcher.

It’s not the bouncing but the thing that you often don’t notice it because there is nothing that shows you that the bomb bounced. Often the bomb doesn’t have a texture or anything while bouncing. A simple sprite,tail etc would be nice so you can see of that thing just bounced. other wise you’d need to search the ground in a middle of a fire fight if your bomb bounced.

Just put in a sound or a little sprite that blinks up when you hit a teammate. hell put the ‘friendly fire’ marker in

Next time,try to teach how throw it on maps(alone or with some buddies,so they can do it too).
