Sticky bomb disappearing still in the game?

Why are disappearing sticky bombs still in the game? Its so fun losing a objective in competitive due to disappearing stickies.

They either haven’t gotten around to Fletcher or it’s an engine limitation and will always be in the game.

Suppose we’ll know once Lock-on is fixed if sticky bombs disappearing will.

-edit- also it wasn’t a problem back when sticky bombs auto detonated on impact with the enemy. Which I would love to come back.

I hate that bug.

Actually I don’t even know if it’s a bug, it just seems like latency. Sometimes I throw stickies but they sometimes don’t even get thrown.

Doubt it’s latency that makes them disappear since as long as you stick them to the upper body of someone they’ll do damage. Lower body though and they glitch every time.

I don’t agree with that observation. I personally don’t know the cause but I’ve had plenty of sticky bombs go off on their lower part of the body and had plenty that disappear right on their face.
