Stencil shadows?

I see RTCW has those half-implemented. MDC mapobjects, enemy heads, guns, ejecting brasses, ammo, etc. cast detailed shadows, Doom III style. But looks like they’re not implemented on .MDS player models, which is a shame, it could have looked so good. My real question is, is it possible to implement this using the available wolf source code? I doubt it, but I lose nothing by asking :wink:
