All,

I have decided to stop making any more maps for ET and it is with happy memories that I am signing off.

Thanks to all who have helped me with various mapping/scripting problems as well as provided constructive feedback - but most of all thanks to the people that have played the custom maps I have created.

I will not leave this forum, I am just announcing that I will not design any new maps for ET. Having said that I am likely to return for another game at another time, right now I don’t have the time to work on level design due to other commitments (work).
One should never say never though…

For those who don’t know these are the maps I’ve made.

Thanks to you all for the kind words.

Loffy, the webpage will still be there but not much will happen until I pick up a new game that interests me, the web page is also in desperate need for a redesign…
The ET server will be there as well until it will be replaced with another game. I simply can not remove the everlasting SteelRat’s cage that has been online since the release of the RtCW demo :slight_smile:

I hear you. I’ve enjoyed both RtCW and Et over at the Cage. A very popular Swedish RtCW/ET server.

Perhaps ETQW will find its way into the Cage? One never knows… Perhaps you have advanced and become the boss by the time ETQW is out, at your working place I mean?
With tons of freetime and a fat salary, enabling you to map and admin the Steelrat’s Cage server filled with ETQW custom maps?

Yeah Loffy, we have had some great games together there :slight_smile:

A lot of things are uncertain, but I can say for sure that ETQW will run on the Cage once the game is out :moo:

I am thrilled. We had noticed that the old and legendary RtCW/ET server “Steelrat’s Cage” had stayed up, and now this. Keep on mapping!

You can’t stop doing what you love doing, it’s real hard. I myself design rollercoasters with a cad type program and I love it. I’ve seen people say they’re going to quit because they have too much work to do and within weeks they’re back on the scene.

Once you pop you can’t stop.
