Steam Summer Sale was end of June last year so the timing for the DLC (and a polishing patch) is about right. Of course on consoles the patch/DLC is going to be the only boost unless they arrange for it to appear as a direct download on Live/PSN.
STEAM - where is everyone?
With peak numbers of well under 2k players you can pretty much kiss the official tournament play goodbye.
I seriously think about stopping this game. Not so much fun, no teamplay (because the voicechat sucks)
862 players online, omg…
20,295 for COD MW2 LOL

Steam was down for a while. If you want teamplay then join a team and use TS. Just a tip. No offence.
Brink tops at 2k on average everyday, so with that sometimes during the day it’s hard to find a decent server near me to keep the pings low, usually I just end playing on those 150+ ping servers so I can just play Brink.
2k times are history. I wonder how low will it drop before getting stable.

I haven’t even tried that yet b/c it sounds awful. How are those 150+ servers? If I can’t find something with more than 8 people playing (bots don’t count) and a ping under 75, I just exit out of Brink and maybe i’ll try again at a later point in the week.
I stalk anyone who is playing from the bullet hell community or just join the eGo servers. They usually fill up pretty fast.
Well it seemed kind of inevitable really.
The (European) Brink pickup channel has filled like one game in the past three days. The game had too many crappy issues to keep the respectable gamers and wasn’t CoD so the spackers left as well.
Was fun while it lasted, though.
Everyone is playing the free games that actually work and are fun to play. Hell Ive had more fun with World of Tanks than this game. I cant even run the game now period. I find it even more funny that the original Day of Defeat has only about 20 people less playing thank this new team based fps. Have fun with the bots.
So here it is ! under the 1400 peak !!! : /
today
online 655 peak 1,350
Posting stats on a game when a majority of people are at work or in school, the games activity picks up in the evening, least it doesn’t in the eu.
But this game on public simply isn’t fun, way too many people just stop moving at the first site of enemy or more concerned about keeping themselves alive rather than helping the guy on the floor next to them.
The peak number represents the max players during the period, so granted that 1350 may increase as the day goes on but I’ve found when I’ve checked in the morning the peak number rarely changes. It seems to be holding around 1500 with the occasional dip.
I’m also guessing that this is players playing the game, not necessarily players online (See CoD:Blops as two entries for each executable). Perhaps a small percentage but still it means the number shown is less than the active community online.
Dead game is dead.
Of servers that are less than 200 ping to me in Washington, D.C. there is only 1 server with more then 8 players on it.
What a waste of my money!

This is accurate… The reason for it being so accurate is because this euros have played/playing already and the only reason it’s at 1300 is because of A) euros and B) the euro tourney at ESL
Peak times for the U.S sees this game at 600-800 people MAX.

What time would ya say are peak for the US? Im thinking between 7-11PM maybe midnight? Ive been following the numbers pretty much from the outset and between the times of 7-11pm the numbers in brink have been roughly between 350-375 people.
