So in my country (the netherlands) loot boxes in games where you can trade the items are banned. How is this gonna work with weapon crates in DB?

You can’t buy anything RNG related with real money if you’re living in NL right now.
Everything before that got grandfathered in.
You obviously still can buy keys with credits to open the rng cases you got from playing, but there isn’t real money involved anymore.
