Steam Trading

Only waiting for trading so that I can trade my Suspect M61 Stoker for a CW Kira card.

Other then that, I really don’t care.

Who cares if they’re free2play or not? I guess there’s a reason why you’re saying that but how does that make a difference?

There are very few games from Valve, only the big games. All the rest are from other devs. So maybe Nexon think they would lose money from implementing that as it would be easier to get the loadouts we want and that’s why they don’t want to do it, alright but the agreement doesn’t look like a big deal.[/quote]

It is a difference because the developers get their money from selling the game, not microtransactions within the game.
Another factor in this one are third-party-sites. Many items for CSGO and so on are sold via sides like csgowild and whatever, I don’t know their names, and Valve does not get anything off of it. This can and probably gonna happen to DB if, if steam trading will be the same like in CSGO.
Also cards are much easier accessible than weapons in CSGO. You can create Silvers, Golds and Cobalts without spending a single cent. This nullifies the actual cost for those cards for Nexon and SD. and I don’t want DB to have keys for normal and Elite cases which cost real money, sorry.
Overall, I feel you think I don’t want trading to be here. That’s wrong. I like trading and I want this function to be ingame. But I’m a rational thinker, and I don’t simply go ahead and say “but it works for other gaems, make it work heeere!” I look at all the factors that can benefit or damage the system.

I don’t think people understand just how much traded is NEEDED for dirty bomb at this moment in time, but trading won’t fix everything by itself Nexon/Splash Damage need to completely redo how loadout cards work. In order to get money from said trading they need to attract more players and many people have a bad impression of Dirty Bomb because, A it’s published by Nexon who don’t have the greatest track record when it comes to publishing games, and B Grinding for things; I won’t say everybody hates it but the play or pay method of unlocking classes in this game turns people off from the get go, on a good week I can maybe in 5 days of 4 hours of play each day i can get 1 merc, not everybody has that kind of time and it’s off-putting to newer players who will get bad impressions thinking X is overpowered because a good player is good with X and because they can’t even try X some of the time they will get unhealthy views on the game; as for loadouts i would make it to where irons and leads have all 3 perks, and also having the default loadout having 3 perks as well but the only difference between then and bronze and higher is how the guns, and classes look. Doing this would give a much better impression to newer players who and this may shock some of you reward the devs with money TF2 gets off with having all 9 classes available from the start and most of it’s revenue comes from cosmetics and skins, you could argue Dirty Bomb isn’t big enough to afford to do that but I think doing that will get more people to play the game and the game population would more than likely increase. Now of course you may be asking “How would I compensate the people who payed for mercs?” simple you give them an obsidian card loadout of their choice for all the heroes they bought that of course can’t be tradeable. All these things + trading would be HUGE for Dirty Bomb I’m not saying it’s gonna be the most streamed game on twitch have MLG major leagues but it would help tenfold make this game profitable and give everyone what they want.
